Life short board solved, OLED TV will usher in outbreak

      OLED TV, known as the king of the next generation display technology, has been a hot topic ever since it came into the market. Although the product is superior to other display products in terms of image expressiveness, light and dark contrast and color restoration, the emergence of low yield, high price and other fatal injuries always makes consumers stop looking at OLED TV. Recently, the author has received many questions from consumers, among which the most concerned topic is the life span of OLED TV. Let's take a look at this topic and explain how we care about the life cycle of OLED TV.

OLED (organic light emitting diode) is a new display screen technology. The main reason why its service life is concerned is the luminescent material itself. As we all know, the OLED light-emitting layer is mainly composed of red fluorescent material, green fluorescent material and blue phosphorous material mixed into white light. The life decay of one material will make the whole OLED fail. In other words, the key factor affecting the life of OLED TV is "blue light". The reason for the short lifetime of blue light is that the energy of blue light photons is high, which is easy to cause the decay of materials. Because OLED is a polymer organic material, the short lifetime of blue light has become an unavoidable short board. The blue light source of LED backlight LCD TV and quantum dot TV are inorganic materials, which will have a much longer life than OLED in essence.

But with the continuous improvement of technology, OLED TV can no longer use any blue light material, but through technology to make green light material become the source of blue light, so as to develop the surface plasmon coupled organic LED (plasma coupled organic LED). According to the introduction of relevant technical personnel, when we carried out the luminous structure experiment of green light material, we found that the green light material actually emitted impossible blue light, so we began to design the special structure of green light material, and finally found out and summarized the reasons and methods for the blue light emitted by green light material by constantly adjusting the parameters.

Finally, DML structure is used to generate planar plasmon coupled effect, which can convert the emission spectrum of green material into blue light. White OLED can use green material to replace the traditional blue material layer, which can not only solve the problem of short lifetime, but also extend up to 20 times than traditional OLED.

In fact, as an emerging form, OLED TV does have some problems in the initial stage of listing, but with the deepening of time and the maturity and improvement of technology, many problems existing in OLED TV will be solved.
